My gf of 6 years was killed in a accident. After 3 days of not sleeping and realizing I needed help and I should handle it I came here and was told this. We cannot see you or get you treatment unless you have a Dr note form your primary care. This place needs to be investigated from fraud and other things from the comments I have read. And I have reached out to some organizations hoping that happens

There's a lot of negativity on here, but I received life saving care here and never once felt like they were not here to help me

Just revolting - AVOID AT ALL COSTS ! This place is truly pathetic. The psychiatrist I saw has no business being in the mental health field. She made almost no eye contact, stared at her computer screen the whole time. A sign in her office says to not confuse your internet search with her medical degree! News for you sister, my internet search had better information than your lazy self. Such a fragile, hateful incompetent person. I was seeing a "therapist" that was so unbelievably bad at his job, I thought he was doing some sort of insurance screening. I truly had no idea this guy was supposed to be doing counseling, and I've been to therapy before. This dude even took personal calls during our "sessions." It's a toss-up which was worst, the psychiatrist or this guy. It appears to me they make extra appointments to generate billings. MY primary care UHS doc is soooo much better than these people. UHS should be ashamed to even employ this mess. If you need help, PLEASE look elsewhere. They do not even deserve a single rating star.

I would NOT Recommend being seen here at UHS outpatient mental health, Can't get a word in with the Psychiatrist's, the social workers and therapists all leave and no one is there to be Reassigned to, I was Referred to this place to deal with PTSD as a Retired United States Marine, I have went elsewhere and received the treatment needed to help deal with various mental health conditions, if you are able to get into CTRC at greater Binghamton health center I would recommend going here .

They have the best people working there all temporarily! So I waste my breathe telling my therapist my life story and all about the abuse I’ve endured since I was born, only for her to be replaced after about a year. Then with my new therapist I have to start over and repeat everything I took a year to tell my therapist before this one. So no real progress ever gets made because once I finally finish conveying everything from my past I’m given a new therapist I have to start from the beginning of my story with. However everyone I’ve ever worked with there is kind, patient understanding fair above and beyond helpful and the best listener. This makes it especially painful when they leave and are replaced.

Azim was telling me that my diagnoses was considered irreverent, even though I have decades of different diagnoses throughout my life. Not to mention really rude people. No wonder it's falling apart.

STAY AWAY IF YOU NEED HELP! I went here from 2003-2007 in that time I had 3 different psychiatrists cause they kept leaving and numerous social workers that weren't much help. I did get a diagnosis but I always had to worry about if my meds would be refilled and then they dismissed me early 2007 cause I couldn't make my appointment due to my vehicle breaking on the way there. Now in 2023 I was stuck having to go back so I could get my meds because my new primary care doctor can't prescribe them due to what I was told Medicade, I saw the doctor once in a televisit where she proceeded to tell me in 10 minutes that I don't have what I've been being treated for, for the past almost 20yrs,she wouldn't prescribe the meds I have been on for years and gave me a antidepressants wich I started and was told it would take 4-6weeks to start working, 4 weeks later and I need a refill but got denied because I don't want a televisit, because it over heated my phone and I would rather go in person, apparently the doctor isn't in the office much, I did get a in person appointment for February but they still wouldn't refill the script even though they said they would. Cancelled all future appointment
